About Josiah
During my time as a tutor at Drury university, I have helped many different students in many classes from the physics, chemistry, and biology departments.
I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals by empowering them to understand and retain each concept.
I cover concepts ranging from middle school to collegiate levels, in subjects ranging from pre-algebra to advanced organic chemistry.

I offer personalized lessons that address every style of learning. My goal is not just to teach you the material, but to think and study like an expert in the field.
A typical session will start with an assessment to know what you do and don’t understand about the subject. I believe the biggest problems come from not fully understanding the basics, which makes the harder material nearly impossible.
Next, we will build an understanding of the concepts and try some step by step practice problems with any assistance necessary.
By the end of the session you should feel significant growth in the material.
