About Cruz
I am a biophysicist/mathematician/self-defense instructor/wrestling coach/oldest son of 10 children. I have a wide breadth of experience with children of all ages not just in academia, but in athletics and general coaching as well. My strongest assets are in trigonometry, geometry, and general problem solving, especially those involving biological systems.

I approach teaching in a systematic way that addresses kinesthetic, visual, and auditory learners so you can have multiple ways to absorb the information and apply it accurately yourself. I was blessed with amazing teachers that got me to Simplify, Connect, And Reconnect (SCAR) so that it would be a permanent learning tool for my future studies. And now I use this tool for my teachings as well.

He is very friendly, adaptable, and very knowledgable. He has helped me get two passing grades in quantitative university level courses so far, through alternative teaching methods to solidify the knowledge provided by the professors. He hand creates his own lesson plans to go over, as well as referencing lesson plans from the prof. He is passionate in his lessons, and connects the materials to things that helped him personally understand it- making the delivery of the material organic and easy to understand. He is a wonderful tutor and I would and have recommended him to many people!
