About Samekshaa
Let's be real; nobody wants to sit through another boring, old-school lecture after a long day at school. As a Gen Z tutor who has spent enough time teaching online and having received online education for almost 2 years, I know exactly how to keep things engaging and interactive through a screen so you actually look forward to our sessions.
I'm a final-year Biological Engineering student at IIT Madras, which basically means I live and breathe maths and science :). But instead of throwing confusing formulae at you, I teach like a helpful senior. We'll break down calculus visually so it actually makes sense and treat biochemistry pathways like a plot in a story. My classes are a totally safe space to make mistakes and figure things out at your own pace. Maths and science anxiety is very real. My classroom is a safe space where mistakes are celebrated as a part of the learning process. My classes are interactive and conversational. I prefer using visual tools to show how calculus actually works or treating biochemical pathways as a story.
A typical lesson is around 60 minutes for regular sessions. The sessions can be extended up to 90 mins for complex calculus and advanced biochemistry topics, or for exam preps.
I am a Biological Engineering student at Indian Institute of Technology Madras, currently in my final year. My academic journey has trained me in advanced calculus and analytical problem solving. I have taught in summer school sessions through clubs at my institute, where I successfully mentored over 100 students. The students thoroughly enjoyed my interactive, high-energy style. I am also proficient in breaking down highly complex concepts into clear and simple pieces; a skill which I acquired through my extensive academic research experience.
These lessons are designed for high school and pre-university students (Ages 11 - 18) working through their GCSEs and A-Levels.
