I am currently still studying therefore I understand the pressures faced by students and understand the difficulties faced when learning new topics. From my past experiences at school, I know the approach required to succeed in secondary school exams.
My sessions will be tailored to what each student needs and based on how each student learns best. I will develop a learning plan and monitor what a student needs more work on and think of different approaches to help the student tackle these topics. I will teach using A3 note sheets that are pre-made and based on specific topics the student needs help with, these notes will be made alongside each exam boards specification to ensure all knowledge points are covered.
I will the move onto exam practice. First I will work with the student to analyse the question and break it down. Then begin to think about what content is needed to answer each question. I will provide advice on the exam technique needed to answer each different type of question in order to effectively obtain maximum marks. In addition, I will provide guidance on how to manage revision and different techniques the student can use in order to revise.
With my knowledge, experience and revision resources I aim to ensure each student achieves their personal goals.
