I am a recent Biochemistry with French graduate, looking to build a potential future career in education. During Science lessons, my approach consists of dividing the curriculum into small, easily digestible topics. I start out by helping my students go through the theory, and aid them in understanding any concepts they may struggle with. Following this, I manually compile worksheets consisting of practice questions, ranging in difficulty, and help my students work through them, and understand how to apply the theory they have learned in the context of examinations and mark schemes.
When it comes to Language lessons, besides compiling worksheets, I also prepare listening material, and divide my theory-based lessons into alternating grammar and vocabulary lessons. Additionally, as I am fluent in all three languages I teach, I provide conversation practice, and for students preparing to take a B1 level or above in any given language, I conduct the lessons solely in that language.
In the past, I have taught A-Level Biology, A-Level Chemistry, and French at an A1-A2 level. I have worked with students ranging from Year 7 to Sixth Form, and I am more than happy to also take on adult students. My lessons can last anywhere from one to three hours, depending on the needs of the student, and availability.
