About Lyz
I have four years of tutoring experience and am also currently a student myself! I know how frustrating it is to not grasp something, no matter how many times you try. Learning something new can be incredibly difficult.
I want to be someone who can teach you, engage you, and tailor a lesson to the way YOU learn. It's never impossible to learn something! Most students struggle with the teachers they have because teachers don't explain things in the way every student can learn.
Math is a hard subject to grasp, but I'm happy to help break it down and explain it in such a way that it makes more sense. There's always a way!

Lessons via Zoom, personalized to each student's learning style. Based on the student's initial understanding of the material, I can break down material and teach learning methods to help retain understanding.
My focus is on teaching learning methods so that students can not only gain an understanding of the material with my help, but they can also be less overwhelmed learning on their own.
Lessons are geared for elementary, middle, and high school students. Depending on the level, I can also teach some college students.
