About Joyce
Hi, I'm a second-year Biochemistry student at Carleton University. While I haven't been a formal tutor before, I've acted as a mentor to my juniors while in school and also helped out at my mom's school so I have some experience with guiding and mentoring kids. My grades have been high and quite consistent over my years in school and I hope to help you achieve something similar.

I will explain, question and then drill the pupils using a combination of standardized tests and questions I come up with. As my students are middle to high school students, I'll endeavor to keep them engaged and interested in learning not just the answers but the concepts behind them. I feel this is more important and can even boost their performance in other areas as many topics can be interconnected. This was also my main method of studying during those years so I feel it should be beneficial to them.
