About Maria
I am currently studying Biochemistry at Imperial College London and I’m looking to pass on the advice and techniques I found useful when I was doing exams.
My previous tutoring experience includes volunteering at a homework club for primary school children, as well as teaching piano, and these have given me the communication and listening skills essential for successful tutoring.
I am passionate about finding ways to make learning fun and rewarding and hope to be able to help students build confidence in their abilities and learn to enjoy studying at the same time.

I am a friendly and approachable tutor, and my approach to teaching is to focus on a student’s unique strengths and use them to structure the lessons in a way that encourages effective and fun learning.
The lessons are 30mins - 1hr and incorporate many practice questions, as these are very effective in testing the material learned.
