About Wesley
Hi, my name is Wesley, and I am a senior attending Brigham Young University Idaho. I am studying biochemistry and seeking to be a chemistry educator. I have had experience teaching, whether as a substitute teacher or a student teacher at a high school, as well as tutoring family and friends with difficult scientific topics. I also love to teach more engagingly, using analogies and visual aids to help people understand these concepts in biology and chemistry. I hope to not only teach but give others an experience to help them enjoy learning because that is the goal of all education, helping people love to learn.

I love to teach people about chemistry and biology because it helps them to understand the world around us. My goal is to teach these subjects engagingly so that others can not only learn the material but also understand why it is important to know in their own life. So this way there is a connection to the subject making it more than just a tutoring lesson, but an exploration of the workings of the world. I can teach middle school to high school level biology and chemistry. A typical lesson would depend on the student; they would come with the subject, and I would help them understand any questions they had, and help them review the concepts so that they could teach others if they needed help. This way empowers them to pass on their knowledge to others.
