The teaching method I have found most effective is the ‘staircase method’. This works by approaching each topic by first approaching the very basic fundamentals and working up from there, in this way students are able to have a much more comprehensive understanding of each topic and allow for more free-thinking in their exams - thus dramatically improving examination and coursework results. I also use past questions assorted to each topic so that students can keep their knowledge current by regualrly testing themselves once the topic has been covered.
