About Jessica
I am a 2nd year PhD student at Imperial College London, studying Biochemistry and Genetics. I have been tutoring disadvantaged pupils with a non-profit organisation (Coronavirus Tutoring Initiative) for over a year now, in both Maths and Biology, and have seen great improvement- my Biology pupil in particular has gone up several grades!
In addition, I developed and led a tutorial course aimed at promoting access to higher education for disadvantaged pupils, through The Brilliant Club. I have also helped younger pupils with their coding skills, through Code Club.

I believe in a friendly and enthusiastic approach to encourage a love of the pupil's chosen subject, and promote engagement and discussion. Flexibility is key, as every student learns differently, so being able to adapt tutorials on the spot is vital!
