About Audrey
I was the valedictorian of my high school class of over 600 students. Throughout high school, I tutored underclassmen in biology and chemistry. I recently graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University's Honors Program with a major in biochemistry, and I completed an honors thesis in neuropsychobiology. Throughout college, I worked as an undergraduate teaching fellow through the College of Science tutoring program, where I tutored college classmates in chemistry. I also worked as a teaching assistant for a chemistry class.

I encourage exploration of different learning styles to help students find a study technique that works best for them (i.e. visual, auditory, written). I share with students my own written outlines that I created throughout college to make information easier to grasp.
I base the topics covered in a typical lesson plan on the needs and wants of each individual student to focus on areas of weakness. I help students understand the big, theoretical concepts behind science, rather than presenting facts to memorize, so students can apply their knowledge to varied questions, whether they be specific and detail oriented or generalized and open-ended.
I am happy to tutor high school students in biology and/or chemistry and college students in chemistry.

I recently took a chemistry summer course with Audrey as the TA, and anytime I had a question she was able to clearly work through the problem with me and I was able to better understand the solution and solving steps.
