About Alexis
I am a current sophomore at Tufts University studying Biochemistry and Community Health on the Pre-Med track. I am originally from Georgia. Outside of school, I enjoy working out, thrifting with friends, and taking very long walks.
On campus, I am involved in an organization advocating for equality within maternal health, a club dedicated to preserving brain function for those with neurodegenerative diseases, and a student-run organization that advances global health legislation. I also work at an OB/GYN clinic in Georgia as a medical assistant!

Hi! I’ve always loved tutoring and spent two years as a tutor in high school, where I also ran my school’s math tutoring club. I especially enjoy working with students in chemistry, biology, math, and American Sign Language.
My tutoring style is very student-centered. I know firsthand how frustrating STEM subjects can be, and I’ve learned best from tutors who are patient and willing to explain something in a new way when it doesn’t click the first time. I bring that same approach to my students—I’ll break concepts down, try different explanations, and work with you until you truly understand. Most importantly, I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and confident in what they’re learning!
