About Joe
My work history of teaching Spanish has afforded me the opportunity to teach and instruct students of all ages and at all levels of competency. Additionally, years of international work in the business world allowed me the opportunity to be immersed in the Spanish language and the culture as well. This experience found me teaching English to our Spanish speaking employees, further enhancing my communication and teaching skills. My experience has paved the way for me to be an effective instructor and one who honestly enjoys the interaction with students of all ages. I can assure you that your invested time with me will enhance your ability to understand and to speak the language, whatever your ultimate goals might be. I always enjoy the interaction with my students and watching them make progress. I'm sure you will make progress, also.

Understanding, speaking and writing Spanish is extremely beneficial to the enhancement of language skills in general. Sequenced and structured practice is the key to the gradual assimilation and comprehension of a foreign language. Taking the student to the point were he/she is not afraid to use what they have learned is crucial to learning a language. I am a former Spanish teacher with previous teaching credentials in California and Pennsylvania. I have spent 8 years living and working overseas immersed in the Spanish language.
