About David
Hi, I’m David! I am a native Korean speaker and an experienced corporate professional based right here in Toronto. With over six years of experience working in fast-paced business environments, I know how to build effective, goal-oriented plans that get real results, and I bring that same structured reliability to my language lessons. Beyond my career, I genuinely love connecting with my community whether I'm organizing local soccer matches or hosting dinner parties for friends. I combine my professional background with this community energy to offer a tutoring experience that is highly organized yet patient, warm, and conversational. Mastering a new language is challenging, but I am dedicated to creating a comfortable, stress-free space where making mistakes is just part of the fun. Let’s unlock your Korean fluency together!

Learn Korean the way it’s actually spoken!
Whether your goal is to navigate a corporate boardroom, travel confidently, or finally ditch the TV subtitles, I can help you get there. As a native speaker with an extensive corporate background, I bridge the gap between textbook rules and real-world fluency.
- My Methodology: I prioritize active, confident speaking. We focus on practical usage through situational roleplay and engaging materials—like K-drama scenes, K-pop song lyrics, or practical travel conversation—rather than dry workbook drills.
- A Typical Lesson: We start with a 10-minute conversational warm-up, move into a targeted grammar or vocabulary focus, and spend the remaining time applying those new concepts directly to your personal goals and interests.
- What Sets Me Apart: I offer the best of both worlds. I can teach you highly polished business etiquette, email structure, and formal phrasing, or the authentic, natural slang used in everyday life.
- Who It’s For: All levels! From complete beginners learning the alphabet to advanced speakers polishing their professional communication, the curriculum is entirely customized to you.
