About Maya
About Me My name is Maya Poulin, and I’m an 18-year-old first-year Health Sciences undergraduate student at Trent University. I grew up in Ontario, but French is my first language—it's a big part of who I am and connects me to my family's roots in Quebec. I absolutely love the French language and enjoy sharing it with others. I'm passionate about science and healthcare, and I'm working toward my dream of becoming a doctor one day. As someone who understands how it feels to be both a learner and a helper, I aim to create a supportive and relaxed space where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I’m friendly, approachable, and always happy to help—especially over the summer when I have more time to give back and support others in their learning journey!

With parents from Quebec and a strong cultural connection to both provinces, I understand the challenges and strengths of learning in two languages. I'm patient, approachable, and passionate about helping others succeed—whether it’s practicing conversational French, reviewing science material, or building study skills.
