About William
Teaching singers is my singular focus. I operate a private studio in Washington DC where I guide voices aged 9 to 58. My BFA from Point Park University informs my technical grounding in appoggio and rib expansion.
Students I work with frequently secure national tours or earn spots at top drama schools. I prioritize the breath as the engine of all phonation. It is a joy to help you find your true voice.

Singing requires a deep trust in the physical mechanism of your body. Sometimes the hardest part of a lesson is simply letting go of unnecessary tension in the neck and jaw.
Through 13 years of instruction, I have refined a process that prioritizes functional alignment before hitting any high notes. We build a personalized song list specifically curated for your unique vocal range. You will study warm up exercises and explore belting technique alongside head and chest voice mechanics. Harmony singing and pitch control receive significant attention to ensure your ears are as sharp as your vocal cords.
Sight singing and exam preparation are integrated into our regular routine to round out your musicality. This deliberate structure prepares you to sing with total confidence as you work toward your performance milestones.
