About Roshan
I am a passionate French tutor with 10 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over this time, I have guided more than 150 learners in achieving fluency, excelling academically, and communicating confidently.
My teaching philosophy focuses on personalised learning, tailoring lessons to match the student’s learning style, goals, and pace.
I employ interactive exercises, conversation practice, role-playing, and cultural immersion to make lessons practical, engaging, and memorable. My unique skill is turning challenging grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation topics into approachable, actionable learning experiences.
I aim to foster a positive, motivating, and supportive environment, where students feel confident exploring language, taking risks, and celebrating progress. Lessons are designed to develop all aspects of French—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—while keeping learning enjoyable.

My French teaching methodology focuses on practical communication and clear understanding. I believe students should learn French in a way that helps them use it confidently in real-life situations.
I use real-life examples and case studies such as attending interviews, writing formal emails, participating in meetings, travelling, and daily conversations.
These activities make learning meaningful and useful. I teach grammar and vocabulary in a simple and structured way, and I ensure students practise speaking, listening, reading, and writing in every class. Problem-solving exercises help students think directly in French and respond naturally.
Motivation plays a key role in my teaching. I encourage students regularly and help them set achievable goals. Integrity is one of my core values, and I provide honest and constructive feedback. I am flexible and adapt my lessons according to each student’s level and objectives.
Besides French, I also teach related subjects such as communication skills, pronunciation improvement, grammar strengthening, writing development, and exam preparation. My goal is to help students become fluent and confident in French.
