About Sally
I am a licensed esthetician, certified makeup artist and lash stylist. I used to sing in a band and grew up singing in choirs throughout my school years. I enjoy reading and writing poetry and am an avid journaler. I appreciate all things creative and beautiful and believe we all have the ability to create amazing things.

I've been a lover of all things books and reading since I began at 5 years old. Reading opens so many doors to endless possibility, from educating us on historical events to utilizing fiction in creating our own fantastical worlds, I believe learning to read and write are imperative tools everyone needs to navigate this crazy thing we call life.
I begin with teaching through example, by reading to the student first, so they receive an understanding of how each word should sound, as well as begin to process sentence structuring and context.
I then bring them into the fold by having them sound the words out with me as we read together-this way they can now also see the words as they're being "sounded out" and heard.
My approach is patient and slow paced, never rushed or stressful.
