About Georgia
Hi there, I am a Photojournalism student (currently on a study break) from the UK. I already have a 2 year photography diploma and have been a photographing at weddings and events for 5+ years. I am very friendly and relaxed, giving advice and helping my friends develop their skills and inspiring them to capture what inspires them the most! I have lived in Canada for the last two years where I had the opportunity to capture amazing nature shots. I also love candid street photography, sports and wildlife photography.

I have a very friendly and relaxed approach, making everyone feel comfortable so that everyone feels as if they can ask any questions and give it their best shot (pun not intended!). I love to teach complete beginners learning how to use that brand new camera they just bought or those looking to progress beyond the 'auto' mode and wanting to learn how to expose manually, capture fast moving objects or even capturing the city lights with the use of a tripod. I'm also happy to help with the basics of editing photos to give you that head start in getting even more creative beyond the lens! We will start by discussing what you are trying to achieve, and even if you're not sure of that we can figure that out together. From there we will shoot subjects that interest you and start creating the images you love. You can only teach so much theory with Photography and then it's all about having that camera in hand. To keep it interesting theory is taught along side the practical. I can keep it super simple or go more technical, it's up to you! Photography is a great outlet for creativity, relaxation and getting outdoors. No pressure and just lots of fun :)
