I am a piano tutor with over 4 years of experience teaching college students, dedicated to helping them develop technical proficiency, creativity, and confidence. My teaching style is adaptive, student-focused, and designed to meet each learner’s unique goals, pace, and learning style.
I incorporate innovative methods such as improvisation exercises, music composition, blending classical with contemporary music, and interactive sight-reading activities to make lessons engaging and productive. I emphasize technique, rhythm, sight-reading, theory, and performance confidence, while also encouraging students to explore their own artistic expression.

My approach to teaching piano is creative, structured, and student-centered. I guide students to enjoy learning while developing strong technical and musical skills.
Creativity is incorporated through improvisation, creative exercises, and exploring different music styles. Students are encouraged to express themselves and stay engaged in every lesson.
As a mentor and critical thinker, I help students understand rhythm, finger technique, scales, chords, and musical expression in simple language. Students learn to reflect on their playing and improve consistently.
Accountability is emphasized through structured practice routines, goal setting, and regular progress reviews. This helps students stay disciplined, focused, and confident in their learning.
In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm skills, keyboard basics, and simple composition to support well-rounded musical growth.
