About Tayara
I am a dedicated Guitar tutor with more than 4 years of experience teaching college students. I believe guitar learning should be enjoyable, motivating, and effective.
My teaching style is interactive and supportive. I listen carefully to students’ goals and challenges and design lessons that match their needs. I focus on steady improvement and confidence building.
I use innovative methods such as real-song learning, rhythm training, and guided practice routines. Students learn chord progressions, strumming patterns, fingerstyle techniques, and timing step by step. I also include creative exercises to improve musical expression.
Music theory is explained in a simple and useful way and applied directly on the guitar. I also introduce improvisation and ear training to build creativity and musical awareness.
I aim to create a positive learning environment where college students feel encouraged to practice and grow as musicians.

I teach Guitar with a focus on creativity, mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability. I want students to enjoy learning while building technical skills and discovering their personal musical style. Lessons include improvisation, composing original music, and exploring various musical genres.
Critical thinking is a key part of my approach. I guide students to understand chord structures, scales, and song patterns, helping them analyze music, improvise, and solve challenges independently.
I emphasize accountability by helping students set clear goals, practice consistently, and monitor progress. Constructive feedback and encouragement keep students motivated and confident.
In addition to Guitar, I teach music theory, songwriting, ear training, and performance skills. Lessons are tailored to the student’s pace, level, and interests, making learning engaging and effective.
My goal is to mentor students into confident, creative, and self-reliant musicians who can play, compose, and enjoy music for life.
