About Vanessa G
I've been a private tutor for 5 years. During these 5 years, I've had the wonderful opportunity of tutoring over 35 learners with varying levels of expertise.
Tutoring was always a natural role for me. But my love for English started in high school when we had the opportunity to go through Shakespeare's Othello. My passion for literature has only grown since then.
I'm currently studying Early Childhood Development Management. After tutoring children from lower income homes, I realized there's a dire need for, free, private tuition in STEM fields and literacy.

My lessons are tailored made to my learners. Having tutored for over 35, I've learned the importance of taking the time to study my student's learning styles.
Most of my lessons involve tutoring various aspects of the English language. Some of the areas I've focused on are comprehension, literature, reading, speech preparation, and essay writing.
I encourage my learners to participate during lessons. Asking questions and participating will make the lessons more engaging. It also allows me the opportunity to gauge the learner's level of understanding.
I've worked with learners with varying learning levels. From elementary to advanced. My ability to assist my learners relies on their willingness to learn no matter what level they might be. With that being said, my lessons are aimed at anyone that's eager to learn.
