About Aline

Let me paint you a picture: I'm a proud mother of two spirited teenagers, juggling the exhilarating roles of both parent and law student. For the past five vibrant years, I've called the United Kingdom my home, where I've embarked on an enriching journey through the corridors of legal knowledge.

But life isn't just about statutes and case law; it's about the colours that fill our days. When I'm not buried in textbooks, you'll find me lost in the world of art, with a sketchpad in hand and creativity as my compass. Dance is my heartbeat, a rhythm that courses through my veins, and karate is my sanctuary—a path where discipline meets dreams, leading me towards the coveted Black belt that awaits.

Nature is my solace, and plants are my companions, each leaf whispering tales of growth and resilience. Beaches call to my soul, their waves echoing the endless possibilities of the horizon, while travel fuels my curiosity, opening doors to cultures and experiences waiting to be embraced.

And then there's DIY—a canvas for my imagination to run wild, turning visions into reality with a splash of paint and a touch of ingenuity.

So, if you're ready to join me on this colourful journey through life, where law meets art, discipline dances with dreams, and every day is an adventure waiting to unfold, welcome aboard.

My journey into teaching this beautiful language began when my partner expressed a keen interest, and I happily took on the role of educator.

What sets my teaching method apart? I rely on natural association. What does that mean? Well, imagine learning Portuguese as if you were living in Brazil itself. You'll dive into the language through immersive experiences, soaking up vocabulary effortlessly while gaining a deep understanding of cultural context.

My focus is crystal clear: I'm here to equip you with vocabulary that matters and immerse you in the rich tapestry of Brazilian culture. Forget dry grammar drills; instead, expect to absorb grammar organically within meaningful contexts. From the vibrant streets of Rio de Janeiro to the serene beaches of Alagoas, each lesson will transport you to Brazil, fostering a profound connection to the language and its people.

What qualifies me to guide you through this linguistic journey? In Brazil, I spent many years working in a legal administrative field within the local government. This role demanded a masterful command of spoken and written Portuguese.

Moreover, I proudly had the privilege of being raised in Brazil and visiting at least one city in every Brazilian state, leading me to immerse myself also, in our unique and diverse culinary offerings.

So, if you're ready to embark on a linguistic adventure filled with vibrant vocabulary and cultural immersion, join me on this exciting journey into the heart of Brazilian Portuguese!
