About Elias
I am a Business Commerce BCom student who has completed Calculus I with an A-, and I tutor Precalculus (Grades 10–12) as well as introductory Calculus. I take a peer-mentor approach, creating a comfortable and supportive environment where students feel confident asking questions. I explain concepts by breaking them down step by step, helping students understand what is actually happening rather than memorizing formulas. These ideas are then reinforced through guided practice and similar problems to build confidence and consistency.

My tutoring approach focuses on providing a step-by-step process and visual explanations to make Precalculus and Calculus feel clear and manageable. Each lesson starts by identifying what the student is stuck on, then I break the concept down with guided examples, visuals (graphs/diagrams when needed), and a simple method they can repeat on their own. After that, we practice by working through similar problems together, gradually increasing difficulty to build confidence and accuracy. I tutor high school and early university students in Precalculus and introductory Calculus.
