About Sarah
I have a huge passion for the French Language. I took French Second Additional Language as a subject in high school, where I came in the top 1% in the country for my matric final examinations (IEB). I then took French as a Foreign Language at Stellenbosch University for 2 years, where I came first in my class in first year for the advanced French level. Last year I also spent a semester studying in France, where I studied partially in French and conversed on a daily basis in French. I did my DELF B2 in 2018, but am more likely a C1 at this stage.
I therefore have lots of experience with the French Language - from a school level, university level and from actually living in a French-speaking country.
I also love the language and enjoy spending my time listening to French music, watching French TV shows and reading French novels.

I will offer interactive but also relevant tutoring plans. We will start by assessing what areas you would like to focus on eg French comprehension, conversational French etc. We will then extend these areas using interesting resources, such as current articles, French music or any other topics that interest you to ensure you enjoy the sessions as well.
I took French Second Additional Language as a subject in high school and took French for 2 years at Stellenbosch University. I am therefore used to both the schooling and university systems for teaching French and what they expect of you, and can give you tips and tricks for doing well in exams.
