About Lucy
I have just finished my second year at University with a strong 2:1, looking for a 1st at the end of next year. I struggled with both maths and physics until I reached university, and would love to help others to enjoy/understand the subjects. I've been working in Outreach at Uni, helping with GCSE level revision sessions and also helping out contacts from home.

I used to really struggle with these subjects, so I can understand how the students get frustrated, and I like to take a laid back approach to teaching as this is the best way to not 'overface' the student. starting with basics to get the confidence levels up, I'll subtly introduce the more abstract ideas through conversation and make the further learning more intuitive. The best way to get confident and achieve results is to keep practicing and doing questions, this helps to reaffirm to the student that they do know how to approach questions and that they do know that they can solve them. And after many years in education I have many resources to share.
