About Basia
- What kind of experience do you have? I commenced learning playing the piano when I was a 5-year-old girl and since the very first moment music has become my passion, then profession and finally my way of life. Today, having had more than 10 years of experience as a music, piano and singing teacher and a propagator of music culture I can say that music is my vocation. I have been teaching children, adult beginners, amateurs and music enthusiasts. - Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate? Yes - Where and with whom did you train? I started learning piano at the age of 5 in a Primary Music School in Poland and I continued it during my Secondary School. After this I studied 10 years piano singing and choir conducting under outstanding, world-class professors and teachers at Music Academies in Poland and London. - Do you belong to any professional organisations? Music Unions - Tell me about some of your current students. I have students of all ages and levels (the youngest one is 4) also teaching parents and children. I teach 1 to 1 and small groups. During group lessons each child has their own keyboard and headphones. I enjoy teaching students of all ages as it helps me to be a better tutor and performer.

Basia is a brilliant teacher: encouraging, patient and full of good
