About Jove

My teaching is all about structure, clarity, and progress. Organic chemistry can seem difficult, but I show students it can be learned step by step. We begin with nomenclature, move into functional groups, then explore reaction mechanisms and isomerism. Each lesson is layered so that one concept prepares students for the next. For Environmentalist and Marine Biologist learners, I connect carbon chemistry to ecosystems, water chemistry, and biological systems. Lessons always include practice questions and discussions to deepen understanding. I provide feedback regularly so students know where to focus. Errors are reviewed carefully to turn weak points into strengths. Once the basics are mastered, we move on to synthesis and real-world applications. I encourage questions and curiosity throughout the process. Students are supported in building both knowledge and confidence. My approach makes organic chemistry less of a challenge and more of an exciting journey. Step by step, learners discover how to master this subject.
