About Taylor
Hi! I pursued a degree in Math not only because it cam easy to me, but because I enjoyed it and enjoyed working with others on it. It wasn't until college I realized math is not about the numbers and getting the right answer, but everything in between! The process and critical thinking skills are what push the brain past its limits and shows us we are capable of seemingly difficult things. This is what we will focus on, and I hope to share my enthusiasm and love for the subject with each of you! I have experience tutoring elementary, high school, college, and everything in between. If I don't know it, we will learn together!

I take a student led approach to all lessons. I believe in letting the student show their skills and not holding them back from trying and possibly failing. Redirection and guiding towards the solution is more effective than leading to the answer in most cases. Most lessons will start with a recap of what was worked on prior, and what has changed since then to better guide the remainder of time together!
