I like to have students prepare anything on the topic in the form of essay , poems based on their preference. Then have a discussion to develop their communicating skills while integrating their school course work into it. I like to have to weekly based lesson plan to allow the students to gather as much information. However, I also like to have them write something about the topic on daily basis to see new progress or new interpretations on what they have learnt. This lesson plan is for 6-12 and bachelors. All this is important but also validating their questions are also important which is why I would also like to have 5-10 minutes of Q and A's.
