About Peter
I went to college for music at SUNY Oneonta, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in music. Since then, I’ve performed live in several contexts, and worked on nearly 10 albums’ worth of original songs. I have previous experience giving private lessons. I believe in fostering a supportive but challenging learning environment for students, marking milestones along the journey so they can see their progress. I love seeing those “aha!” moments on my students’ faces when things start to click!

I believe lessons are supposed to be fun as well as rigorous! I take the time to learn what types of music you’d like to play, and we’ll get started learning actual songs RIGHT AWAY, as well as building up the fundamentals.
I can teach you any or all of the following:

- Songwriting
- Live Performance
- Audio Recording & Production
