Privet! My name is Yury, and I am a native Russian speaker. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogics and am a trained teacher of English yes not Russian ha-ha, But it means I not only understand how to speak languages fluently, but also how to teach them. As someone who has started learning the English language mostly being 18 y.o, I know all the challenges of learning a new language — and I can guide you step by step through Russian in a way that feels clear, engaging, and achievable. My lessons are designed to build your confidence, whether it is a professional use, or deep cultural understanding. I adapt my teaching style to your personal goals and learning pace, so that you always feel supported.

Yury gave me four tutoring sessions to help me brush up on my Russian before a long trip to Central Asia. He designed lessons to prepare me for common tourist situations and infused a good deal of regional cultural understanding into the lessons. He always showed up on time and prepared, and his prices were reasonable. I would take tutoring from Yury again.
