About Trisha
Hi! I am a Bachelor of Arts student at the University of Melbourne, and am currently majoring in Psychology. I have always loved writing and reading since I was little, and it was one of my favorite subjects throughout high school. That passion has stayed with me, and I would love to share it with other students. I want to teach because I genuinely care about helping students feel more confident about their academic skills. I know that English can seem overwhelming and difficult when it comes to essay writing, but I want to show you that it can become a creative and interesting subject that will become easier over time. I am an organized, patient, and supportive individual. I aim to create lessons that reflect my values, such as creating a comfortable space that allows students to feel confident and proud in their abilities.

I create clear, engaging lessons that help students strengthen their English skills at their own pace. I tailor every session to the student, focusing on their specific needs - whether that be comprehension, essay writing, or grammar. My teaching method involves individualized lessons that are centered around specific goals, active participation through short activities and discussions, and supportive and critical feedback on practice writing and class work. These lessons will primarily be for students doing English in years 7-9. They will run for 60 minutes. However, if a student requires more time, that can be discussed.
