About Trey
With 20 years of experience as a Singing tutor, I have had the privilege of guiding students from school to college level in developing their musical skills and confidence. My approach to teaching is centred on patience, discipline, and encouragement.
Over the years, I have supported many students in improving their tone quality, voice projection, and performance skills.
Some of my students have received appreciation and recognition in various events, which has been a proud milestone in my career.
I focus on structured vocal training that includes breathing exercises, pitch control, rhythm practice, and stage preparation. At the same time, I encourage students to express their emotions through music and enjoy the learning journey. My aim is not only to train good singers but also to build confident individuals who are proud of their abilities.

My singing teaching methodology focuses on guiding students towards confident and healthy vocal expression through patience and personalised instruction. I understand that every voice is unique, so my approach emphasises flexibility, empathy, compassion, communication, and collaboration.
Flexibility allows me to adapt lesson structure and pace according to each student’s needs. Whether a student is a beginner or has prior experience, I adjust exercises and repertoire to match their comfort and goals. Vocal health is always a priority.
Empathy helps me connect with students emotionally, especially those who struggle with self-confidence or performance fear. Compassion ensures a positive learning space where students feel motivated and supported.
Through clear communication, I explain technical aspects such as breath support, pitch accuracy, resonance, and phrasing using easy language and demonstrations. Collaboration allows students to actively participate by choosing songs, setting goals, and reviewing progress together.
Along with Singing, I also offer instruction in Music Theory fundamentals, Ear Training, Voice Care, and Stage Confidence.
