I specialize in encouraging a "big-picture" understanding in math (as opposed to rote-learning), thereby helping students retain knowledge and cultivate independent learning. I am a qualified (Bachelor and Dip. Ed (math)) and a 20-year high school teacher (including 4 years in Australia and 16 years in USA), having continuously tutored students at school and at my home. As a Christian family man, I am now semi-retired and looking to try some online math tutoring. I am prepared to offer each 50-minute online lesson for $50 with the first lesson free.
