I am an award-winning composer and songwriter who has been teaching for five years. My eclectic creative background has equipped me with the knowledge and tools to teach Music Theory, Composing, Songwriting and Creative Music Technology students across a wide-range of styles and abilities.

I am an enthusiastic and encouraging teacher who believes that music is a subject that can be enjoyed and participated in by all. I use modern techniques and technology to help students access and understand music, unlocking their creativity whatever their age or academic level. I offer enjoyable approaches to music theory, composing and songwriting, combining a mixture of short exercises and lengthier projects to inform and inspire students to become creative musicians and to find their own voices.
