About Pranav

Hi, I'm Pranav, a First-Class Automotive Engineer, Technical Trainer, and passionate educator based in the UK.

My journey into teaching began not in a classroom, but on a racing track. As Team Leader at Brunel Autonomous Racing, I worked with junior engineering students who were intimidated by mechanics and applied mathematics. Watching them go from self-doubt to genuine confidence became the most rewarding part of my engineering career, and it's what drives my approach to tutoring today.

I currently work as a Technical Trainer at Incrystals, where I design and deliver workshops that break down complex mathematical and engineering concepts into clear, structured lessons for professionals. I bring exactly that same clarity and patience to every tutoring session.

My teaching style is built around you. I take time to understand where you are, identify the gaps in your understanding, and rebuild your confidence step by step, using real-world examples that make abstract concepts feel relevant and achievable. Whether it's GCSE maths, A-Level mechanics, or undergraduate engineering modules, I adapt to your pace and your goals.

Outside of engineering and teaching, I co-founded UrbanElf Gifts, a personalised gifting brand, an experience that sharpened my ability to communicate ideas clearly, think creatively, and understand what people truly need. Skills I bring into every lesson.

I believe every student is capable of excelling, sometimes they just need someone to show them how. I'd love to be that person for you.

ABOUT MY LESSONS
I'm a First-Class automotive engineer and Technical Trainer who makes maths and STEM subjects genuinely click, not through repetition and textbook drilling, but by connecting concepts to the real world. Whether it's algebra, trigonometry, calculus, or mechanics, I show students where these ideas live outside the classroom: in racing car design, fuel efficiency, suspension geometry, and engineering systems.

️ TEACHING METHODOLOGY
Every student learns differently, so I begin each new relationship by listening. I diagnose exactly where confidence has broken down, whether that's a shaky foundation in basics or a specific concept that never quite landed, and rebuild understanding brick by brick. My approach is:

• Real-world examples drawn Engineering
• Step-by-step problem solving, never rushing to the answer
• Building confidence alongside competence, so students trust themselves, not just their notes
• Flexible pacing tailored to each individual student

One of my students had nearly dropped out of her engineering degree before we started working together. By the end of term, she achieved a first-class grade, not because I gave her answers, but because she finally understood the 'why' behind the maths.

️ LESSON LENGTH
Sessions typically run 1 to 1.5 hours, giving enough time to properly explore a topic, work through problems, and consolidate understanding without overwhelming the student.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• First-Class Degree in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering
• Technical Trainer at Incrystals, designing and delivering workshops that translate complex engineering and mathematical principles into accessible lessons
• Former Team Leader at Brunel Autonomous Racing, mentoring junior engineering students in applied mathematics and mechanics

WHO ARE MY LESSONS FOR?
I teach students of all levels, from those just starting out in secondary school all the way through to undergraduates. Whether you're struggling with GCSE maths, preparing for A-Levels, or finding university-level mechanics and calculus tough, I can help.
