About Ben
Hi, I'd like to show you that history can be fun. I have a degree in History and teaching History for year 1-3 in Dutch High Schools. At the University of Leiden I obtained my degree and am now working at the Calvijn Groene Hart, NL and TTO. In addition to teaching at school, I would like to invest extra time in teaching courses in History, Civics, Social Studies and Philosophy. This can be in Dutch or in English (TTO option).

Making history fun, interesting and telling enthusiastically about your profession is completely who I am. I try to explain the world of today as much as possible, by showing that it is not to be taken for granted. Everything has a connection with the past. On the basis of elementary skills, such as cause-effect, continuity, factual knowledge and connection with the present, I can show the student how history, civics, social studies, and philosophy can be learned and that you remember what it is about.
