About Aarshav
Hi! I’m an Actuarial Studies student at UNSW who genuinely enjoys helping students feel confident in math. I remember finding math challenging at times myself, which is why I’m patient and supportive in my teaching. I enjoy explaining concepts in a simple, relaxed way and adapting lessons to each student’s pace. Seeing students grow in confidence and start to enjoy math is what motivates me to tutor.

As an actuarial student, I deal with math everyday and learn how to approach problems in multiple angles. I want to make students not just become better at math but actually enjoy math. Anything becomes fun when you get good at it.

Aarshav was a helpful tutor during my year 12 for math extension , made the experience worthwhile and explained things on a good level.
Aarshav is an exceedingly talented tutor, having consistently scored high marks (band 5-6) in extension 1 and 2 math. He also attends the Bachelor of Actuary course at UNSW, a course that is renowned as extremely difficult to get in as well as being a highly prestigious degree. I cannot recommend Aarshav enough as a math tutor due to his high level of proficiency within mathematics.
