About Benjamin
Many students find mathematics extremely dull and frustrating to study maths and science, unable to see improvement. I believe that everyone is capable of unlocking their true ability, and that all that it takes is having a different perspective. I personally had this experience with the help of another tutor, who completely changed my perspective of maths and science - which has allowed me to surpass my own expectations. This tutor has inspired me to help and guide others so that they can surpass their own expectations too.

As a person who is extremely passionate about maths and science, I will present concepts and ideas in a more interesting and engaging way while also honing in on the students' foundational skills, such as problem solving and logic. To develop these skills, I will encourage in depth discussions about practice questions, whether it is homework assigned by their school, or extra practice problems which I can provide. I've been taught by many different teachers, tutors and friends, who all have had different teaching styles and techniques - which I will adapt into my own style.
I am able to tutor any level (up to VCE) in maths, and VCE Physics. The typical length of a lesson will be 1-2 hours.

Perfect! Ben was very knowledgeable in VCE specialist maths and physics - his lesson was well planned, explanations very clear and concise, with lots of student practice questions to test the student's understanding.
- Knows the content very well for both subjects. She seems quite strong in physics. As for specialist she is doing well too but I feel she could improve on problem solving skills to progress even more. She has very strong foundational skills when it comes to maths which will make it easier for her to improve.Benjamin's response :

With all the knowledge that he has gained throughout the years, he surely puts it to good use. Ben is very informed and direct with his teaching approach, making difficult concepts clear to students like me who've had trouble with maths. A highly recommended tutor for those definitely struggling with maths and science.
Been in the same class as Ben for years, he definitely knows what he's doing in maths so you won't be disappointed. He's straightforward and blunt; if you make an effort, he has your back. I recommend him for his quality of not giving you the answers straight away but slowly giving hints, and answering any questions you got. In the end, he'll clearly explain the question and answer till you understand. I am speaking from experience as he has helped me in subjects like Methods. One of the smartest people I know, I highly recommend this guy.
Benjamin is an extremely hard working and diligent student who achieved extremely high in VCE mathematics. He is extremely capable of teaching all levels of mathematics to primary and high school students and will bring a sense of excitement to his teaching. A highly recommended tutor who will make difficult math concepts easy to understand and allow students to achieve despite their struggles.
