About Kristina
I recently graduated UF with a degree in astrophysics and a minor in mathematics. I have always enjoyed helping my classmates succeed in their classes and started formally tutoring in 2017. I worked in the Kumon Learning Center in Miami for 2 years and slowly began tutoring friends, classmates, and many middle/elementary school students. I specialize in tutoring mathematics, however, I have much experience with physics and other science courses!

I always like to get a baseline of what the student knows about the subject. From there, I like to explain concepts and equations by explaining why they make sense and using everyday examples to describe it. Learning why/how things work always makes the subjects easier! From there, I use many examples until the concept becomes second nature.
