About VIJAYA
I am Dr. Vijaya Srinivasan, Associate professor from the Department of Biochemistry, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER), Chennai. I have 27 years of teaching experience for U.G and P.G students. I have guided several P.G students for their dissertation work. I have taught biochemistry for M.D, MBBS, BDS, B.Sc. and M.Sc. biochemistry, renal science, neuroscience, nutrition, perfusion technology, medical lab technology, optometry, nutrition, nursing students, etc. I am a three-time winner of the Young Scientist Award. I have published papers in reputed national and international journals. I can coach students for their research projects also.

Perfect! Dr.Vijaya mam is a very senior professional teacher in Bio Chemistry who developed several doctors in the last three decades. She adopts unique style of teaching depending upon the student's interest and learning ability. Adding to this, the important aspect of mam is instilling in the minds of medical students the relevance of biochemistry in Medical and clinical sides which enables them to focus intensely on the subject and stand top in their class.
- Devipriya is the daughter of Mr. G.K Raman , presently joined in saveetha medical college. When she joined me she didn't know anything of biochemistry but now she has mastered thru my classes . Biochemistry has become so simple for her to understand. Really feeling very happy to teach her.VIJAYA's response :
Perfect! Her teachings are excellent, before her classes I have no understanding of biochemistry and thought it as boring subject, now she explains the subject so that I can understand it without any difficulty, it's a great experience.
- When vishnu joined me as a student, he was not in a position to kow anything in Biochemistry. He was scared of the big metabolic pathways . He found everything very complex rather complicated but as i started the class , he found it very easy. All his fear regarding biochemistry has vanished. He is doing extremely well. Attending the classes regularly, writing assignments without seeing the text or the slides. In just a weeks time he has shown tremendous progress. From the fear of passing his biochen exam which is pending for 3 years ,now he can write any exam any day. I think if you could contact vishnu, you will know , how my classes have transformed him. Dr. Vijaya taught me Analytical Biochemistry and Immunology during my MSc years between 1995-1997. It formed my foundation in the subject. She teaches in very simple language and patiently explains the concept till the student understands. I am a doctorate now and am teaching Biochemistry in an HIE. The love and understanding i have of the subject is all because of her. I have kept in constant touch with her all these years which itself shows how much i have admired and adored her.
