About Callum
My name is Dr Callum Russell, a former Chemical Engineering, Project Management, and Mathematics Assistant Professor in the U.K. I have an extensive teaching portfolio across all levels of Chemical Engineering in both BEng and MSc. I am the founder of The ChemEng Student - a Chemical Engineering Online Academy.
I have an extensive proven track record in teaching throughout my career, having successfully taught 320 students privately and over 3,500 students collectively at my institution.
My primary degree is in Chemical Engineering, spanning my undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD. My teaching philosophy is predicated on a student centred approach with a collaborative construct. Further information can be found in my personal portfolio.
In addition to my academic background, I am also a Chemical Engineering entreprenuer, where I currently hold postions as a Co-Founder and serve on the Board of Directors for two major renewable energy companies.

Each lesson will be bespoke to each student with aim of establishing areas of weakness and to develop a plan moving forward. This ensures the work is targeted and specific to each student for maximum value.

Callum was one of my lecturers and was undoubtedly one of the best! His ability to make complex problems seem easy, his way of teaching is unlike any lecturer I have had before. Callum is such a genuine and humble guy; there is a reason he has a PhD and runs his own education academy. I cannot recommend Callum enough!
