About Sofian
I am a Second year A level student who studies Biology, Chemistry and Maths. A years experience in tutuoring and also with triple A’s in first year of college. Also, I have a grade 8 in GCSE maths and a triple A* in triple science at GCSE’s. I have previously tutored for a year in my local library where I set up engagement classes and crash courses, where students can interact actively with the specification and content needed. I offer high quality and well structured tuition sessions for learners that will be taking GCSE exams and also for KS3 students.

I try to focus my methodology on what the student wants to gain from the lesson. If it’s exam technique we can work on that. I can shift to conceptual learning and to even techniques on how to memorise things. In most cases I try to understand the preferred learning style of all my students so that they are able to remain engaged and learn in a way that suits them. I am up to date with any new teaching pegagogy and like to ensure that any emerging educational research is always reflected in my teaching sessions.
I am able to build a rapport with young people and create a comfortable and enjoyable learning environment in which students are not afraid to ask for help or make mistakes and one in which they can explore various concepts of the subjects I tutor.
