About Akanksha
I am a university student in her fourth year of a double degree program with Wilfrid Laurier University and Nipissing University in the concurrent education program with an English teachable. My family owns a Kumon Math and Reading centre where I have worked for over 6 years! Through university, I have had school placements grade 4-8 and taught almost every elementary school subject. I taught high school English in Italy and have used multiple online tutoring platforms to teach English as a second language to people.

The most important part of being a teacher is patience! Everyone learns at a different pace and with different learning strategies so I am open to experimenting and customizing lessons per student. Using a variety of learning tools, students will focus on aspects that they need to improve on. Setting goals with a timeline is a great way to track progress and is also very motivating for students!
