About Aiden
Kia ora! Hello!
My name is Aiden, I am a university student (officially graduating in May, 2023) who studied a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Media Studies and Creative Writing. In 2018 I received my ASB Teaching Diploma from Speech New Zealand, qualifying me to teach and tutor speech and drama.
I have a huge passion for the arts, ESPECIALLY theatre. Throughout most of my life I have been heavily involved with speech and drama, starting with lessons at age eight through Tall Poppies Speech and Drama School in Palmerston North. Since starting I have been in multiple local shows and musicals, high school plays and productions, and have even continued on to become a tutor at Tall Poppies!

My teaching style focuses on catering to the needs of the student, helping them learn and practice in the way best for them.
A lesson will typically take an hour, which will include:
- five to ten minutes for vocal warmup
- check in and chat about our aim for the lesson
- carrying out the lesson aim
- notes, discussing next steps
I have a three years teaching experience with speech and drama, as well as musical theatre. Lessons are typically for students between year 6 and year 11, though I have experience tutoring all age ranges between 5 and 18.
