About Ella
I'm not some fancy artist who is well established and known. I am experienced enough to teach, yes, but am not so far away from my students skill-wise to the point where I won't understand their concerns. I have most likely been at the same artistic level as you not too long ago. So, the idea of not knowing where to start or how to improve is not new to me. It doesn't take long to improve at all; you just need to put in the effort.

As your hopeful teacher, my goal is to shift your way of thinking and looking at art, so you can better understand what you are trying to draw. I will go over essential concepts such as shading, lighting, contrast, structure, and more. A typical lesson will start off with me seeing any little drawings or sketches of yours, creating a list of what to focus on improving, and going over one or two of those topics in great depth. I will focus on your specific needs and listening to your concerns.
Why choose me as a tutor? Well, many artists who do "beginner" level tutoring fail to start off with the very basics. You can't have a sturdy house without a firm structure! I work on digging out the weak points in the basic essentials, patching those up, and rebuilding your approach completely, so you can truly understand the underlying structure of making art good. These lessons are for absolute beginners, wanting to know more about realism drawing.
