About Debra
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in both English and Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I have taught full-time at various schools in both Wisconsin and Minnesota, most recently at Shattuck-St. Mary's School, a prestigious, private college preparatory school, for fifteen years. During the last six years, I taught Advanced Placement English Language and Composition, along with Creative Writing.

Often my classes involve a lot of intriguing discussion where much interaction takes place. I have a always been fortunate enough to choose literature that easily encourages lively banter. This occurs as a result of intellectual curiosity arising within the classroom.
