About Indie
My fascination with architecture began with an appreciation for how spaces influence human experiences and behaviour. This led me to pursue a B.Arch followed by an M.Arch in Interior Architecture, where I developed expertise in spatial design, sustainability, and aesthetic composition. Over 9 years, I have guided students from beginners to advanced learners, helping them balance creativity, technical knowledge, and design confidence.
I approach teaching with patience, clarity, and hands-on engagement. Lessons emphasise visualisation, iterative design, and practical application. I encourage students to explore their own ideas while grounding them in structural, functional, and aesthetic principles. This fosters independent thinking and creative problem-solving.
Outside the classroom, I remain active in architectural research, sustainable design projects, and contemporary trends. Seeing students evolve from tentative sketches to confident, expressive designs is incredibly rewarding. Supporting learners in developing both their creative vision and technical skills remains one of the most fulfilling parts of my teaching journey.

Architecture lessons are designed to make complex design principles accessible while nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and technical precision. I cover spatial planning, material selection, environmental sustainability, design concept development, and visual communication. Each lesson emphasises how students can transform abstract ideas into functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces, balancing creativity with practicality. Hands-on exercises, case studies, and sketching practices allow learners to visualise their ideas and experiment with innovative solutions.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s experience level. Beginners focus on drawing fundamentals, proportion, perspective, and basic design exercises to build confidence. Intermediate learners explore advanced modelling techniques, spatial reasoning, and sustainable strategies, while advanced students refine portfolios, presentation skills, and real-world project planning. I integrate step-by-step guidance, feedback, and collaborative problem-solving to strengthen students’ technical and creative abilities.
These lessons also aim to develop observation, analytical thinking, and independent design judgement. Students learn to critically evaluate their own work, articulate concepts clearly, and respond creatively to design challenges. My goal is to create an engaging and supportive environment where learners grow in both skill and confidence while exploring their personal design voice.
